Lakshadweep,
off the coast of Kerala, scattered
in Arabian Sea, is one of the
Union Territories of India. Of
the 36 islands in Lakshadweep,
only 10 are inhabited. Four of
the ten islands are permitted
to be visited to the Indian Nationals
while only one island - Bangaram
is open for the foreign tourists.
The island has a hotels and small

Andaman and Nicobar Islands are
a group of 293 islands that lie

The capital of the Union Territory
of India, Port Blair, is lined by
air to Calcutta and Madras. For

penal settlement known as Kala Pani
or Black Water where the most hardened

town, 51 km north of Trivandrum

Covelong
is a beach between Chennai and Mahabalipuram
and a small charming settlement
of a fishing community. It was originally
a port built by Saadat Ali, Nawab
of Carnatic and it was here that
the French General Labourdonnais
landed his troops in 1746. Later
taken by Clive in 1752 and destroyed.
The Beach is separated from the
mainland by the canal running from
Madras(Chennai) to Mahabalipuram.

and offer good and clean accommodation.
It is an hours drive from Chennai
